The Ecommerce Sales Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining strong customer relationships with strategic ecommerce customers.  Customers will include major e-tailers in the tabletop and gift/registry industries. 

Libbey is looking for a highly motivated sales professional with extensive ecommerce experience. The Ecommerce Sales Manager role is a unique opportunity to join one of the most progressive and rapidly growing digital organizations in the consumer products industry.  Our team has a newly established office in Columbus, OH to focus on our ecommerce growth, while delivering world class support to our customers.  This position provides growth opportunities into senior and international roles in sales, marketing, and business development.

  • Grow business with existing digital customers and develop new business through strategic prospecting
  • Support existing digital customers and growth projects to deliver the ultimate consumer experience for our tabletop products
  • Collaborate with the Senior Director of Digital Sales in support of existing initiatives and business development opportunities
  • Directly accountable for multiple strategic, digital accounts- including sales and margin goals
  • Design effective sales tools including presentations, samples, reports, etc.
  • Think outside the box to develop compelling product solutions for customers
  • Work cohesively with internal teams to communicate customer requirements and opportunities (product and service opportunities, special developments, competitive information, or feedback gathered through field activity)
  • Lead and/or play an active role in sales, and occasionally non-sales related, projects
  • Attend Libbey sales & business meetings, training events and industry trade shows (including Chicago International Housewares Show, and New York Tabletop Spring & Fall shows)

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3-5 years of demonstrated success in ecommerce sales; preferably in the retail, tabletop or housewares industries
  • Ability to travel up to 20% to current/prospective customers, tradeshows and Libbey events or training
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues in marketing, analytics and pricing
  • Ability to develop and deliver presentations
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong organization skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office programs
