New Business Development Intern - Masters Level

Must be currently enrolled as a student, pursuing a Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance or a related field

 

Libbey is seeking a Graduate/Master’s level student in the Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain and/or Business field to work on a critical research & development project within our organization. We’re seeking a student willing to work in the 2020 Spring and Summer semesters, with the potential opportunity for continuation. Candidates must be available to work a minimum of 12-25 hours per week. Students do not need to be local to Toledo, but may need to travel to the area periodically (10-15% of working time).

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Must be currently enrolled as a student, pursuing a Master’s degree in Business (MBA)
  • Successful completion of coursework related to Engineering & Business preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to communicate with senior leadership and business/engineering colleagues
  • PC Skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.)
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Ability to exercise good judgement and safe work practices within production facilities
  • Frequent sitting, using hands/fingers to operate office tools and equipment
  • Standing/walking in glass production environments
  • Occasional reaching above shoulders, stooping, kneeling, and/or crouching
  • Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 20 pounds
