The Regional Hospitality Accounts Manager is responsible for driving growth and managing hospitality sales efforts within the Central West U.S. region. Sales efforts will be directed towards region brand levels, management companies and hotel properties. The Regional Hospitality Account Manager will collaborate often with internal and external Libbey business partners to meet the needs of our customers within the foodservice and hospitality channel.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, develop, grow and support Libbey’s hospitality tabletop business within the designated region
  • Collaborate with the Libbey hospitality team and the regional salesforce to develop brand specifications, solicit quote requests, build key relationships, secure orders and manage projects on an ongoing basis
  • Assist in the development and implementation of pricing tactics, programs and processes needed to achieve agreed upon sales and profitability targets and objectives
  • Successfully develop and execute strategic sales business plans, including identifying new business opportunities
    • Design sales strategies and channels of distribution for increased sales penetration
  • Effectively build and maintain strong relationships with current customers, prospects and rep agencies
  • Proactively communicate with Libbey’s internal partners on product and service opportunities, special developments, competitive information/trends, or feedback gathered through field activity
  • Assess competitive analysis data to determine product/program strengths, weaknesses, shortfalls and gaps, as well as new market opportunities for Libbey brands
  • Provide support for internal marketing activities such as product launches, promotions, advertising, etc.
  • When necessary, works with Engineering and/or Product Development on new and/or special products based on customer inquiries and the specific needs of a project
  • Participate in industry trade shows and sales meetings, training sessions and joint territory calls

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Hospitality, Business Administration or related field, preferred
  • 3-5 years of direct selling experience in the foodservice and/or hospitality industry, preferred
  • Proven sales and relationship building experience in hospitality industry, preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 40% of the time
  • Forecasting, prospecting and business planning experience
  • Strong negotiations skills and ability to persuade and influence others
  • Ability to develop and deliver compelling business presentations
  • Strong communication and organization skills
  • Work requires travel to current/prospective customers, trade shows, and Libbey events or training. This requires a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
