The Channel Marketing Manager will serves as the primary B2B Marketing contact for Libbey’s sales and customer facing operations. The Channel Marketing Manager will lead key projects and initiatives, set the Retail channel marketing strategy, and serve as the primary B2B interface for the Product and Customer teams, bringing the “customer lens” to all brand initiatives.

Successful candidates will have experience with business concepts related to brand and product marketing, market research, product training, promotion and pricing strategies. Project management experience is highly valued, as is solid business and financial acumen.


  • Serve as the B2B market channel expert, identifying and evaluating growth opportunities
  • Contribute to sales effectiveness through training and developing materials to present our product solutions in a compelling way
  • Continue to uphold our established Buyer relationships, anticipate their needs and work closely with sales management to develop assortment plans and presentations for key retailers
  • Develop an annual strategic plan with sales managers and establish product priorities to achieve maximum growth
  • Collaborate with sales managers to identify/brainstorm custom new product concepts
  • Seek out and identify product/collection/packaging synergies across customers in channels of responsibility
  • Analyze sales data, and utilize the information to make recommendations on channel products, product promotions, product discontinuations, cost improvements and product mix
  • Establish sku productivity guidelines and manage accordingly and obtain budgeted sales growth and margins
  • Ensure that established branding strategies are enforced within specified categories of responsibility
  • Monitor appropriateness of branding guidelines for packaging and recommend updates as necessary
  • Assure timely and accurate information regarding all marketing efforts within the assigned channels are shared with all appropriate departments; includes new product information, promotions, catalogs, product samples, market data and trend information
  • Tradeshow strategy and execution, channel analytics and opportunity identification, and the proposition, place and promotion for collections and products
  • Develop turn-key customer presentation tools to promote more unified sales messaging, and to enable the sales teams to spend more time working with customers

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA preferred
  • 5+ years of experience working in consumer products and the B2B space
  • Analytical and strategic mindset
  • Solid project management experience
  • Superior presentation skills and comfort with a variety of audiences
  • Advanced interpersonal talents and excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid MS Office skills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Practiced strategic thinking and planning capability and experience
  • The ability to navigate through a complex, multi-regional organization
