Position Title:            ERP Program Intern

 

Libbey Inc is the leading producer of glass tableware products in the Western Hemisphere and one of the largest glass tableware manufacturers in the world.  Libbey designs and markets an extensive line of high-quality glass tableware, ceramic dinnerware, metal flatware, hollowware and serveware items to a broad group of customers in the foodservice, retail, and business-to-business markets in over 100 countries.

 

The ERP Program Intern is responsible for assisting in ERP project tasks as assigned and driving those assigned tasks to completion.

 

Responsibilities

  • Interview Global Leads and Business Users and develop content for presentation materials
  • Perform system testing of new Customer Relationship Management/Quote system
  • Document testing steps for new CRM/Quote system
  • Document and develop training materials for new CRM/Quote system
  • Develop and maintain appropriate support documentation
  • Special ERP projects or tasks as assigned
  • Regular attendance is important to achieving our departmental goals and an expectation of the position

 

Requirements & Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • General knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office Suite
  • Highly motivated and willingness to apply educational background to an innovative business environment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Must be able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week between Monday and Friday in Libbey’s Corporate offices, located in downtown Toledo, OH.  
  • Must be currently enrolled as a student at a post-secondary university or educational institution.  Successful completion of coursework related to Information Technology, Management Information systems, and/or Computer Science preferred
  • Overall and major GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred
  • Displays effective and efficient use of time with the ability to attend to a broad range of activities simultaneously
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate (both verbally and in writing) with various individuals across multiple areas and levels within the organization
  • Provides honest analyses and applies logic and methods to solve problems with effective and creative solutions
  • Possesses attentive and active listening skills and is dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal customers
  • Ability to learn in a fast-paced environment and is committed to continuous improvement through new challenges and learning opportunities
