Position Title:            Product Marketing Intern (Toledo)

 

Reports To:                Category & Channel Marketing Manager – B2B
 

Libbey Inc is the leading producer of glass tableware products in the Western Hemisphere and one of the largest glass tableware manufacturers in the world.  Libbey designs and markets an extensive line of high-quality glass tableware, ceramic dinnerware, metal flatware, hollowware and serve ware items to a broad group of customers in the foodservice, retail, and business-to-business (b2b) markets in over 100 countries.

 

The B2B Marketing Intern’s primary responsibilities surround supporting the marketing team with organizing, cataloging and un-packing product samples, responding to sales requests for pre-production samples, tracking whereabouts of samples, as well as maintenance of the monthly product availability list and communication to sales.

The Intern will also monitor the Libbey Toledo showroom, checking to assure that all current items are on display, and discontinued items are removed.  This role will be responsible for helping to develop and update product sell sheets, catalogs and other marketing materials.  This role requires high levels of concentration and attention to detail. 


Responsibilities

  • Proofing external-facing documents including catalogs and other marketing materials
  • Periodically inventorying the Libbey b2b showroom – eliminating discontinued items and replacing missing items
  • Assist in preparation of customer sell sheets including copywriting
  • Filling sales requests for photo images and other product related questions
  • Tracking down, marking and shipping samples, as needed
  • Help prepare customer presentations, if needed
  • Maintenance of the monthly availability list and communication to sales.
  • Enter new product requests and work with product managers in development of new products.
  • Sales analysis

 

Requirements & Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Pursuing Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Highest level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Flexible, and can learn on the fly
  • Must have high grammatical and spelling abilities and reasonable amount of analytical skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including PowerPoint & Excel, working knowledge of Pivot tables strongly preferred
  • Ability to work 16-24 hours per week average with ability to work additional hours during peak periods
