Libbey Inc. is seeking a motivated professional for a Sr. Treasury Analyst position, located at our corporate office in Toledo, OH. The Sr. Treasury Analyst is responsible for analysis, execution and reporting, relating to covenant compliance, financial risk management, capital allocation, corporate finance and international cash movement.

We are seeking an experienced accounting and/or finance team member, who will exhibit sound judgement and protection of highly confidential information. This person will be required to establish and maintain effective relationships with colleagues across the organization, gaining trust and respect. Responsibilities:

  • Debt covenant compliance analysis, forecasting and reporting
  • Natural gas, interest rate and foreign exchange risk analysis, execution, documentation, accounting and reporting
  • Dividend and share repurchase analysis, coordination and reporting
  • Funding and international cash movement analysis and planning in collaboration with tax, legal, accounting and regional finance teams
  • Inter-company loan portfolio management
  • Coordinate debt facility related audits and appraisals
  • Coordinate delivering SOX and internal/external audit related requests
  • Development of investor relations, rating agency and Board/Audit committee  presentations and earnings call materials
  • Corporate finance and rating agency ratio analysis, forecasting and reporting
  • Cash management payment release and back-up responsibilities
  • Review cash and debt journal entries
  • May be asked to participate in or lead projects, both within the department or cross-departmentally

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required (Finance/Accounting preferred)
  • MBA, CPA or CTP credentials, a plus
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in treasury, accounting or finance at a multinational corporation
  • Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Excel analytics; basic proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word
  • Prior corporate finance, financial statement and debt covenant analysis experience, desired
  • Experience with derivatives trade execution and derivatives accounting, desired
  • Experience with Bloomberg, Cognos Controller and Microsoft AX Dynamics, desired
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal – bilingual skills a plus
  • Solid organizational and time management skills
  • Accountable and reliable to meet commitments and deadlines to internal and external customers of the department, with timeliness and accuracy
  • Strong personal leadership, teamwork and interpersonal skills
